BEGINNING JANUARY 31, 2024, EMPLOYEES MAY REQUEST THEIR FORM 1095-C FROM THE RSU 9 OFFICE OF FINANCE. COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ANY SUCH REQUEST. FORM 1095-C MAY BE PROVIDED ELECTRONICALLY SHOULD THE EMPLOYEE AFFIRMATIVELY CONSENT.

Under the recently passed Paperwork Burden Reduction Act (H.R. 3797), effective for 2024 reporting, employers are no longer required to furnish paper copies of IRS Form 1095-C to employees.

In compliance with the new law, this notice on our website, is posted in a clear, conspicuous manner, reasonably accessible to all employees.

Winter Carnival Fun

January marked the first time our Winter Carnival festivities lasted a whole day. This allowed us to take students into the community for skiing at Titcomb, ice fishing at Crowell Pond, and movies at Narrow Gauge Cinema. There was plenty to do back at campus with sessions offering things like E-Sports, needlepoint, creative writing, cookie-making, music jam sessions, and gym games. There was also a sneak peek at this year's Unified Basketball team taking on the teachers. Throughout the week students competed in a trivia championship where the Juniors came out on top!

The fun continued into the weekend with a hockey game and dance! On Friday night, students traveled to the Mariners in Portland to see a hockey game, where they were featured on the big screen. Saturday night our students get all dressed up for the Winter Carnival Dance.
