Board of Directors

The Mt. Blue Regional School District is governed by a sixteen (16)-member Board of Directors elected by residents of the district's municipalities, by popular vote. Board members typically serve three (3)-year, staggered terms. Voting power on the board is distributed among members based on the population of their respective municipalities, as determined by the latest census data. Additionally, four (4) non-voting student representatives from Mt. Blue High School participate in Board meetings (2 Juniors & 2 Seniors).

The public is invited to attend meetings of the Board of Directors. The board welcomes visitors from the public and feel it is important for community members to know about the workings of our school district and for the board to be aware of what is important to the greater Mt. Blue community. Visitors are invited to participate in the meeting in accordance with the policy and rules established by the board.

Agendas are prepared by the Superintendent and Board Chair and are typically published at least three business days in advance of each meeting and posted on the Mt. Blue Regional School District website and social media pages, at member municipality town offices, and in area news media outlets.
