Scholarships for International Students

Two needs-based scholarships are available to help ensure that receiving an education on Mt. Blue Campus is economically accessible to interested students.

Cougar Scholarship

For applicants who need financial assistance with Tuition

• Financial-based – Please provide an explanation of financial need. (This can include household income and expenses, unforeseen circumstances, current economic situation, other)
• Please include attributes you would like us to consider such as merit-based (grades), community-based (volunteerism), or other attributes

Award Amount: $500 - $7,500 USD

You must submit the following for the Cougar Scholarship

• Mt. Blue Campus online student application
• Cougar Tuition Scholarship Form
• Financial-based explanation
• Attributes to consider
• Any supplemental materials, including transcripts, recommendations from teachers, or others preferred
• All requests for a scholarship must be made during the application process 

Cougar Den Scholarship

For applicants who need financial assistance with Homestay costs

• Financial-based – Please provide an explanation of financial need. (This can include household income and expenses, unforeseen circumstances, current economic situation, other)
• Please include attributes you would like us to consider such as merit-based (grades), community-based (volunteerism), or other attributes.
• Upload a 1 – 2 minute video describing your role as a global citizen and your values.

Award Amount: $500 - $8,000 USD

You must submit the following for the Cougar Scholarship

• Mt. Blue Campus online student application
• Cougar Tuition Scholarship Form
• Financial-based explanation
• Attributes to consider
• Any supplemental materials, including transcripts, recommendations from teachers, or others preferred
• 1 – 2 minute Video
• All requests for a scholarship must be made during the application process

Criteria and Evaluation Process

A scholarship committee will evaluate applicants based on the following criteria

• Student application
• Student interview
• Scholarship application
• Transcripts
• Any other supporting documents

It is expected that all awarded recipients will maintain appropriate levels of good citizenship and academic standing to continue in the scholarship program. Mt Blue Campus will follow good practices in determining scholarships.
