Family & Consumer Science

Mt. Blue High School’s Family and Consumer Science program offers students the opportunity to explore skills for healthy personal development. With a wide variety of electives, students have the opportunity to be successful through interactive activities with their peers, or as individual learners. Students are encouraged to share their learning with other students and their families. 

Family and consumer science lessons are often blended into science, social studies, and world language coursework, demonstrating the breadth and depth of the family and consumer science content. 

Electives include: Family Life, Interiors, Nutrition and Foods, Sewing Applications, and Specialty Foods
